“A human being is a part of the whole called by us universe, a part limited in time and space. He experiences himself, his thoughts and feeling as something separated from the rest, a kind of optical delusion of his consciousness. This delusion is a kind of prison for us, restricting us to our personal desires and to affection for a few persons nearest to us. Our task must be to free ourselves from this prison by widening our circle of compassion to embrace all living creatures and the whole of nature in its beauty.”

Albert Einstein

OUR VISION

INTERBEING TRANSFORMATIONAL COACHING arises from the recognition that self-realization happens when we transcend our identification with ourselves as isolated individuals.

While we work towards personal development and individuation; true fulfillment does not happen without deep connection to the rest of humanity and our environment. Becoming increasingly updated versions of our individual selves necessarily has to be balanced with wider responsibility towards the rest of life on this planet. Our survival, as well as our greatest happiness, is only to be found in acknowledging and honoring our bonds with our families, social networks, and the whole of existence.

Furthermore, in the face of current global challenges, we are urged to develop new ways of coexisting and administrating our resources. We are urged to build a global "thinking together". Our biggest challenge towards greater inclusivity is to step beyond reaction, into acceptance and integration of different lifestyles and cultures. This cannot be done with outdated tools, based on external rules, or group bonds. It can only be done as a creative, alive, step by step process. Broader levels of inclusivity defy our old structures, institutions, and minds. We need to “REWIRE” our brains and LEARN new capacities in order to function in higher levels of complexity, and we need to expand the wisdom of our hearts to be able to FEEL the reality of our global interdependence.

Based on scientific research, clinical experience, the wisdom of mystical traditions, and decades of personal practice, INTERBEING COACHING is an alive and evolving response to the need for personal and collective integration, honoring individuation and togetherness, and looking forward to creating a more sustainable future for humankind.

INTERBEING, a word by Thich Nhat Hanh

"Looking even more deeply, we can see ourselves in this sheet of paper too. This is not difficult to see If you are a poet, you will see clearly that there is a cloud floating in this sheet of paper. Without a cloud, there will be no rain; without rain, the trees cannot grow; and without trees, we cannot make paper. The cloud is essential for the paper to exist. If the cloud is not here the sheet of paper cannot be here either. So we can say that the cloud and the paper inter-are. ‘Interbeing’ is a word that is not in the dictionary yet, but if we combine the prefix ‘inter’ with the verb ‘to be,’ we have a new verb, inter-be. Without a cloud we cannot have paper, so we can say that the cloud and the paper inter-are... “see, because when we look at a sheet of paper, the sheet of paper is part of our perception. Your mind is in here and mine is also. So we can see that everything is in here with this sheet of paper. You cannot point out one thing that is not here — time, space, the earth, the rain, the minerals in the soil, the sunshine, the cloud, the river, the heat. Everything co-exists with this paper. That is why I think the word interbe should be in the dictionary. ‘To be’ is to interbe. You cannot just be by yourself alone. You have to inter-be with every other thing.”
